                          Inflammatory Bowel Diseases  



The journal article is designed for clinicians and researchers working in IBD (inflammatory bowel diseases) and related fields. The purpose is to support the mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation by bringing the most impactful and cutting edge clinical topics and researchfindings related to IBD. The article is divided into three main sections.

In first section, the article is mentioned that the basic science reviews that add to the body of knowledge of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are interesting and notified that the report mechanistic studies leading to advancements to understand the pathogenesis of chronic intestinal inflammation.

In second section, the editor asked to search for more evidences which might be helped with the role of diet and the microbiome in intestinal inflammation, the role of cytokines and adhesion molecules in experimental and human IBD and the discovery of new targets and biomarkers for the treatment and diagnosis of both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

In the final section the editor was welcome of experimental studies using relevant mouse models of chronic colitis and the evidences should be prepared in compliance with the journal's Instructions for Authors and submitted through the Editorial Manger submission portal.
